Alex was born in Rome on 27 December 1977.
He was rocker from very early age and at 10 he bought the album that would mark his life: The Number of The Beast by Iron Maiden. From that moment, he became a sincere metalhead. Heavy Metal is a passion that still lasts today, after many years, and also led him to learn to play the guitar first, around the age of 16, and then also other instruments, such as bass and synths. The first band, he formed with schoolmates, was Daylight, a sort of 90s heavy punk metal. Between 1999 and 2000 he formed Windseeker, a power/prog metalband, quite well known in the local scene.
In 2004 he broke up the band to undertake a more extreme path with I Suffer Incorporated, with whom he released two albums, the first for B/2D Films and the second with the Greek Burning Star Records. The band tours far and wide across Italy, sharing the stage with other very interesting groups. In the meantime he joined Blind Horizon as a singer, a powerful and melodic prog/death metal band. With Blind Horizon he released a self-produced album entitled The Parallax Theory. He broke up I Suffer Incorporated and in 2007 formed Dying Diva, a screamo/emocore band, from which he left shortly before the release of their debut album.
In 2012 he formed Honeybombs, in which – after an initial short period in which Alex took care of both vocals and guitar – Andrew joined on lead vocals.
In 2017 the band released their debut entitled Wet Girls And Other Funny Tales for Sliptrick Records and in 2024 they finished production of the following There is an Elephant in the Room.
